The following diagram and instructions are meant to assist you to refill your specific inkjet printer. Printed copies of these instructions are also included when you purchase one of our Inkjet Refill Kits.

If you require additional assistance, please contact Graphic Connection directly online or by phone.

  1. Remove the top of BCI-21 cartridges using a penknife. (See Diagram 1) Enlarge the filling hole(s) in the top of the cartridge(s) (See diagram 2) using the screw provided.

  2. Assemble the syringe and filling needle and fill with the appropriate colour ink.

  3. Insert the needle through the appropriate filling hole, and push into the centre of the cartridge.
Note: The cartridges contain sponge and a slight resistance may be felt.

  4. Slowly inject up to 7mL of ink (BCI-21), 40mL(BC20) or 10mL (BC-22). When full some ink may overflow from the filling and outlet holes.

  5. Replace the top and secure with adhesive tape (BCI-21).

  6. Unused ink may be returned to the bottle. Clean the syringe with water and dry for future use, or use with a different color ink.

  7. Mount the cartridge(s) and run a priming cycle as per printer instructions.
NOTE: Empty cartridges should be refilled immediately
